IrGTU generates cobalt nanopowder

Lidiya Nindakova from Irkutsk State Technical University (IrGTU) patented a way to obtain nanodisperse cobalt powder. The invention can be useful for chemical production of cobalt powder.

The method helps to produce the nanopowder consisting of 2-5 nm particles and their 20-40 nm agglomerates. The use of hydrogen is excluded. Besides, the usual high temperature of the process is reduced to room temperature.
