Statoil has sold a 15% stake in Gudrun deposit

Statoil has sold a 15% stake in the operator of the oil and gas deposit Gudrun to Repsol (Spain). Statoil stays the largest shareholder of the project with a 36% stake.

Statoil will purchase a 31% stake in the license for the Alfa Sentral deposit which is located at the sea border of UK and Norway. Statoil will purchase 13% of shares from Repsol in the JV Eagle Ford and will become its only operator.
