During his visit to Azerbaijan, Panayiotis Lafazanis, the Minister of Industrial Reconstruction ,the Environment and Energy of Greece, plans not only to attend the first meeting of the coordinating council on "Southern Gas Corridor", but also to discuss important bilateral issues.
It is about the privatization of Greek gas transmission operator DESFA and questions about the Trans Adriatic Pipeline.
Earlier, the newly appointed minister has already stated that the issue of DESFA privatization was not yet active. The Greek government has decided to wait for the decision of the European Commission on the issue.
