Government is ready to make allowances to oil companies only by the issues not requiring large losses for the budget

On the results of the Presidential Committee for the Fuel and Energy sector it became clear that the Government is ready to make allowances to oil companies only in the issues not requiring large losses for the budget. The companies can hardly hope for the reduction of tax burden and application of new methods of taxation in the near future. By May 1st the Government is to work out new schemes of taxation in the oil sector – tax for financial result and tax for added income – taking into account the mechanism of administration and readiness of Government structures to its application. It is necessary to provide the federal budget income, e.g. the main arguments against new ideas of the Ministry of Finance that were supported by the President Putin at the previous meeting of the Presidential Committee in June 2014 stayed unchanged.
