Krasnoyarsk enterprise of Rosgeologiya assessed the resources of perspective for gold and copper object in Tuva

​JSC Krasnoyarskgeolsyomka (in the structure of Rosgeologiya) has completed the execution of the state contract or geological additional study o the Kyzyl site located in the Kyzyl, Piy-Khemsky, Tandinsky and Kaa-Khemsky districts of the Republic of Tuva. The works have been held since 2013. Tyvanedra ordered the works. The area of the studied site is 5,132 sq km.

In the framework of the project research works, laboratory works, geochemical sampling were held, sediments of the Ulug-Khemsky coal basin were studied, the geophysical and geochemical basis were prepared and tested.

The borders of the Tannoulsko-Ulugousky gold-polymetallic minerogenic and Kalbaksky coper-molybdenum ore areas and the Tapsa –Kaakhemsky alluvial gold area were specified. Within the borders of the latter the Terektigsky golden ore hub and Ondumsky ore zone were separated. The first object was issued a passport with the assessment of forecast P1 copper and gold resources - 1.7 mln tons and 33 tons respectively.

On the results of the geochemical survey at the Kyzyl site, 7 anomalous geochemical fields of golden ore were discovered, forecast P3 resources of copper, zinc, silver were assessed – 850 thousand tons, 500 thousand tons and 563 tons respectively.
