Deliveries from Byelorussia make Russian oil-refining plants reduce gasoline prices

Vice-PM Arkady Dvorkovich will arrange oil deliveries to Minsk on the background of growth of Belarussian gasoline delivery to the RF.

In the beginning of March gasoline prices started reducing both at exchanging and kerb markets in spite of February forecasts. Oil companies have to sell their fuel in conditions of low winter demand and low prices of oil products in Europe resulted in large amount of Byelorussian gasoline in the RF. This can also be explained by the fact that Minsk is trying to demonstrate fulfillment of its oil products’ delivery liabilities on the threshold of complicated negotiations with Moscow about oil deliveries this year.
