NOVATEK negotiates LNG export and reckons on liberalization of the market

The negotiations of NOVATEK with the potential buyers of Yamal LNG are at “their advanced stage” – the basic conditions of the contracts can be signed in Q2. At the same time the independent gas producer reckons on a positive decision by the Russian authorities, i.e. the liberalization of LNG export.
On Monday the Chairman of NOVATEK, Leonid Mikhelson reported that the company was going to sign the agreements on the basic conditions of the contracts for LNG delivery from Yamal LNG project of NOVATEK (80%) and Total (20%).
