Russian gas can cost $368.5 per 1,000 cubic m for the Ukraine from Q2 2014 under the new price, compared to $268.5 per 1,000 cubic m in Q1 2014, the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Y. Prodan says. The price can be raised after cancelling of gas discount. It has been compiled in accordance with the contract for 2009, and depends on oil price. Mr. Prodan gives the variants of gas supplies from Europe. The Ukraine has the contract with RWE on gas supplies at a rate of up to 5 billion cubic m. 10 billion cubic m can be got in Slovakia. He has spoken with the EU Commissioner G. Ettinger.
