Russia not to reduce oil production in 2015

Russia won’t reduce the oil production in 2015, but it will reduce the refining by 3 million tons, which will be additionally exported, the Energy Minister Alexander Novak said.

"We believe that this year we will keep the production at the level of not less than last year - 525-527 million tons. We think so based on data from companies that we received. We don’t expect a decrease, despite the low prices and a number of other problems, "- said the speaker.

By results of 2014, the oil and gas condensate production increased by 0.7% to 526.8 million tons, while the production of raw materials of the largest Russian oil company - Rosneft, which has about 40% of the oil production in Russia - decreased by 1% in the past year.
