Sayanogorsky aluminium plant (SAZ) to increase ingot production by 4.5% this year due to updating

Rolled ingot production will increase up to 120 thousand tons a year in the programme being realized in 2013 within the framework of the upgrading of the Sayanogorsky Aluminium plant, a part of RusAl. Last year SAZ produced 114.96 thousand tons of sheet ingots. In total, high-value added products output reached 357.2 thousand tons at SAZ in 2012. It makes up 66% of the total volume of products of the plant.
Rolled ingots are in great demand in foil, lithographic and structural aluminium plate production.
