Transneft starts filling Zapolyarie-Purpe main oil pipeline with oil

From April 12, Transneft started filling the Zapolyarye-Purpe pipeline with oil. According to a press release of the Russian company, the filling is schedule to take more than 5 months.
It is noted that the filling of the linear part of the pipeline began using reverse technology - from linear production-dispatching station Pur-Pe of the Noyabrsky Department of main oil pipelines of Transneft-Siberia. This station is the final point of the pipeline. The initial volume of oil needed to fill the pipeline is located in the tank farm of Pur-Pe station.
