Uzbekistan will significantly increase hydrocarbons extraction by 2020

​By 2020 Uzbekistan plans to increase hydrocarbons extraction by 2% against 2014, Uzbekneftegas reports.

“The annual extraction of hydrocarbons will rise by 1.9% in 2019 against 2014, including gas by 2%”, the holding says. Production volumes on the results of 2014 haven’t been announced as yet.

According to the holding, currently the development program of the oil and gas sector of Uzbekistan for 2015-2019 has been worked out and submitted to the Government. “The realization of this program will allow to provide the growth of reserves in 2015-2019 at the volume of 468.7 mln tons of reference fuel, including gas by 265 bln cubic m and 31.7 mln tons of liquid hydrocarbons”, is reported.
