Severstal starts mounting equipment for South Stream pipeline

The Izhora pipe plant CJSC (an asset of Severstal, St. Petersburg) has started the mounting of the second LDP expanding machine for South Stream.

"The new equipment at the cost of more than 600 million RUR is supposed to increase LDP production. It can provide for the reliable and opportune delivery of products for new oil and gas projects, including South Stream”, the chief technology officer and senior engineer of Severstal Russian Steel, Andrei Lutsenko said.
