Gazprom will go on looking for oil and gas in Tajikistan, the head of the Main Geology Department of Tajikistan, D. Murod Hol, said. At the Sarikamysh oil and gas bearing site the first well Shakhrinav 1-p was drilled in 2010, at which Gazprom Inernational holds geological exploration. According to the head of Main Geology Department, the company goes on geophysical research works at the “Western Shokhambary” site with the potential hydrocarbons reserves. Geological studied are over but the state committee for reserves hasn’t received the company’s data on the reserves.
