PVC imports into Russia increase by almost four times in H1 2016.

Within first six months of the year imports of suspension polyvinyl chloride (PVC-C) in Russia have exceeded 39 thousand tons, which is almost four times more than in 2015. The main reason for such a serious import volume growth was unplanned layover in the production of PVC Sayanskkhimplast, according to a survey of DataScope for MRC.

In June the external supply of PVC in anticipation of the resumption of production at Sayanskkhimplast decreased to 12.7 thousand tons compared to 13.6 thousand tons a month earlier.
