Metinvest to produce a new mark of zinced rolled products

MMK n.a. Ilyich (in the structure of the Metinvest Group) has successfully mastered the production of zinced rolled products of a new S320GD mark of 1.5 mm thickness. This type of zinced rolled products used for the production of building construction was produced in the Ukraine for the first time.
A pilot lot of high strength zinced rolled products in coils out of the S320GD steel mark of 1.5 mm thickness was produced by the European standard EN 10346 at the cold rolling shop of MMK n.a. Ilyich. To apply this type of products a special technology of steelmaking and metal pouring, steel chemicals content and heat-deformation rolling regimes were worked out. The mechanical characteristics obtained meet the European standards.
