MMK refused to sell its Turkish asset MMK Metalurji.
MMK Metalurji is the plant, built in Turkey by MMK from scratch. An analyst of UBS N.Sosnovsky states. The construction started in 2008. There was established a joint venture with Turkish Atakas Group in 2007 for this purpose (MMK had 50%+1share). In 4 years, MMK purchased the share of Atakas Group for $485 million.
