NLMK asks to introduce duties against reinforcement rods of ArcelorMittal Krivoy Rog and other Ukrainian manufactures

The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) recommended the introduction of anti-dumping duties against metal rods from the Ukraine already in May: 9.32% for Ukrainian company ArcelorMittal Krivoy Rog and 10.11% for all other producers. According to the Federal Customs Service, in 2014, 652, 215 tons of rods for $736 million were imported from the Ukraine to Russia. But the average price of Ukrainian import was by 10-15% less than the prices of imports from other countries. 1 ton of Ukrainian rods in Russia cost $547 at an average price of imports of $648 per 1 ton. Dumping from the Ukraine causes "material damage to the industry of the single economic space," the EEC concluded. But the duties haven’t yet been introduced.
