In 2013-2017, sort rolling capacities increased by 1/3, V. Terlevoy, the director of Metal Expert Consulting direction claims at the conference ‘Wire-Fitting-2013’ in Moscow. Under his estimation, wire rolling capacities can increase by 925,000 tons. Rolled wire production development is presupposed only in 2 of 20 denounced projects. Quality metal items are demanded in Russia but semifinished rolled products imports are needed for their production that constrains hardware production that declines their competitiveness in comparison to imports.
