First oil extracted at Kashagan

First barrels of oil have been extracted at Kashagan deposit (Kazakh sector of the Caspian Sea), Novosti-Kazakhstan reports with reference to North Caspian Operating Company (NCOC).
“NCOC on behalf of the Consortium in the framework of the North Caspian PSA announced that the first well has been reactivated and the first oil has been extracted at Kashagan”, is said in the report.
