Rusal to invest about 3 billion rubles into Severouralsk bauxite mine

In 2013, Rusal plans to invest about 3 billion rubles into construction of new facilities at the Severouralsk bauxite mine (SUBR) and its technical re-equipment.
In 2013, about 1.1 billion rubles were invested into construction of the main SUBR’s project – the Cheremukhovskaya-Deep mine. The amount of planned investments into this project will make up over 1.2 billion rubles more before the end of this year. On the whole, since 2010 the total amount of investments into the construction of Cheremukhovskaya-Deep mine will make up 5.5 billion rubles. The launch of the new mine, which is scheduled for 2014, will provide for decrease of the prime cost of the bauxite production at SUBR.
