Gazprom and Petrovietnam will found the JV for gas motor fuel production in Vietnam

Gazprom and Petrovietnam have signed the agreement about foundation of the JV for gas motor fuel production in Vietnam. The chief of Gazprom A. Miller claims that the companies are founding the JV on a parity basis of 50/50. He tells that it’s a new direction of their operation. Gazprom operates on the Vietnam shelf and extracts gas. In his opinion, gas motor fuel is a good source of fund saving for the budget, and the main purpose for Gazprom today is entrance to very capacious Vietnamese market. Gazprom is going to supply to the market 500 million cubic m of gas motor fuel a year.
