Growth in hydrocarbons reserves in Russia will outstrip production by the end of 2013

The growth in hydrocarbons reserves in Russia will outstrip production by the end of 2013, the Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology S. Donskoy says. In November, the Ministry will get ‘the interim index’ on the volume of growth in reserves, and the final index will be obtained in February 2014. In 2012, growth in reserves was 681 million tons of oil and 816 billion cubic m of gas, and production was 518 million tons of oil and 655.007 billion cubic m of gas.
