Russia and Serbia plan to construct a branch from South Stream to Kosovo

Russia and Serbia plan to construct a branch from the South Stream main gas pipeline to Kosovo, the press centre of the Serbian Government reported on Monday by results of negotiations of the country’s Prime Minister, Ivica Dacic and the Gazprom’s Head, Alexei Miller.

“Possibility of one branch from the gas pipeline to Macedonia and one – to Republic of Srpska (Bosnia and Herzegovina) were considered at the meeting, a bend to transport gas to Kosovo and Metohija is planned to provide the stability of gas supply in the region,” – the report says.
