Novak: Zarubezhneft is interested in a number of projects in Iran

​The advantage of Zarubezhneft is in its specializing in the growth of oil extraction rate at old deposits, the Minister of Energy of Russia, A. Novak, said.

Zarubezhneft offered Iran its services on the increase of oil extraction rate at the existing deposits, in late October it signed a memorandum on the development of the Shangule deposit, A. Novak said.

In the framework of the intergovernmental committee Zarubezhneft showed its interest in certain projects. This is one of the directions in which Zarubezhneft offers in services. The second direction is the development of the Shangule deposit. During my visit to Iran in late October, Zarubezhneft signed a memorandum of participation in this project, Novak said.

He said that a detailed development of possible contracts is being held now.
