Rosneft asks Gazprom to increase supplies to Eastern petrochemical company

Gazprom has received request of Rosneft to increase gas supplies for Eastern petrochemical company (VNKhK) 2.5 times.

Thus, instead of the current 1.7 billion cubic meters Rosneft wants to receive 4.3 billion cubic meters. Gazprom will have to completely change schemes of gas supply to two Primorsk districts, to carry out additional engineering and to construct 10 km of branch especially for the main gas pipeline to increase the supplies. This issue will be resolved by the Gazprom’s Head Alexei Miller personally, but now experts affirm that Gazprom doesn’t have any interests to help the oil company.
