Sibur reports financial results of its activity under IAS over the first 9 months

Today, Sibur holding, the integrated gas-processing and petrochemical company, the leader of the Russian petrochemistry, published operating and financial results of its activity under IAS over the first nine months of 2013.

The results of the operating activity:

In the first nine months of 2013, Sibur’s gas-processing plants, including Yugragazpererabotka’s plants, increased processing of associated petroleum gas by 5.8% as compared with the same period of 2012 to 14.5 billion cubic meters. As a result, 12.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas were produced at the plants that is by 4.6% more than in the first nine months of 2012, and 3.9 million tons of broad fraction of light hydrocarbons that is by 15.3% more than in the previous year.

In January-September of 2013, Sibur increased sales of majority of its fuel and raw materials. The growth of sales in product type is caused, in particular, by increase of hydrocarbon raw material processing. The sales of natural gas grew by 16.5% as compared with the same period of 2012 and made up 8.9 billion cubic meters. The sales of  liquid hydrocarbons, including LPG, naphtha and broad fraction of light hydrocarbons, made up 3.5 million tons, increased by 20.1% as compared with the same period of the last year. The sales of petrochemical products made up 1.6 million tons, decreased by 5% as compared with the same period of the previous year.
