Eight bln. roubles to be spent on the reconstruction of Omsk oil pipelines

Transneft is about to start supplies of high-sulfur crude oil to the eastern direction.

According to the information, sulfur-bearing oil (over 2% of sulfur content) will be compounded in the central part of Russia and delivered to the eastern direction, the edition states citing the spokesman of “Transneft” I.Demin.

After  compounding the sulfur-containing oil from Bashneft, LUKOIL, Russneft and other small oil companies it will go to Kazakhstan, as well as to the Omsk, Achinsk, Yaisky and Khabarovsk oil refineries. They are about to reconstruct main oil pipelines Tuimazy-Omsk-Novosibirsk-1 and Tuimazy-Omsk-Novosibirsk-2 to organize the transportation of oil. 8 billion roubles is allocated for these purposes.
