Varyeganneftegas of Rosneft has reached performance indices of the business plan for 2013

The staff of “Veryeganneftegas” has met the challenges, defined by the business-plan for 2013. The scale of the geological and engineering operations, aimed at the increase of reservoir recovery, have contributed to the figures.

“There was produced more than 7.5 million tons of oil, 3.4 billion cubic meters of gas in 2013, the acting chief executive of the enterprise, I.Oneshko said. Geological and engineering operations, held by the oilmen in 2013, included hydrofracturing and operations on sidetrack kickoff. This technology has been improving from year to year. There has been commissioned 80 new wells owing to the successful realization of the drilling programme. The appliance of new technologies, in particular the development of difficult-to-recover resources, was among the top-priorities in 2013.
