Daily average gas exports via South-Caucasian pipeline increased by 20.7% in 2013

Daily average gas exports via South-Caucasian pipeline increased by 20.7% to 13.4 million tons in 2013. Exploitation of the pipeline began in the end of 2006. Gas is transported to Azerbaijan and Georgia, and since July 2007 it’s transported to Turkey from Shakh-Deniz. Last year capital expenses to the pipeline increased by 22.7 times to $250 million. This year the planned expenses to the pipeline are $1.25 billion.
