Gazprom gets right to allow 15% discount for business customers

“Gazprom” will get right to allow up to 15% discount from the tariff, established by the Federal Tariff Service, for all industrial consumers in Russia, the deputy head of the Ministry of Economics S.Belyakov said yesterday. In late December the Federal Tariff Service brought the draft decree before the government. According to the regulation the maximum size of the discount declined depending on the remoteness of the region from the main gas deposits. Only those companies, which consume not less than 100 million cubic meters of gas a year, could get the discount.
