Lukoil to return to Iranian energy sector after the lifting of sanctions

The Russian oil company Lukoil is ready to return to the Iranian energy sector after the lifting of the USA’s sanctions, the company’s head, Vagit Alekperov stated on Wednesday.

According to the Lukoil’s head, the company is ready to continue work on the Iranian oil block of Anaran.

“We can develop the Anaran project on our own, when economic sanctions will be lifted from Iran,” – Alekperov said.
