Gazprom and CNPC agree on location of crossing of Amur by Power of Siberia

Gazprom and the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) have agreed on the location of the underwater crossing through the Amur river of the Power of Siberia gas pipeline and technical requirements for engineering surveys for its detailed design, press release of Gazprom reports.

The report notes that on February 12, chairman of the Russian oil and gas company Alexei Miller held a meeting in Tomsk on the implementation of investment projects related to the supply of gas to China along the eastern route, i.e. through the Power of Siberia pipeline. Resource base for it will be East Siberian fields, primarily the Chayandinskoye one.
