Lukoil has signed a contract a construction of a complex in Uzbekistan

Lukoil’s head, V. Alekperov, announced of the construction of the Kandym gas processing complex in Uzbekistan. Hyundai Engineering from South Korea will work out the technical and economic assessment and documentation.

Lukoil and a consortium of contractors headed by Hyundai Engineering from South Korea have signed a contract for the supply of equipment and construction of the Kandym gas processing complex in Uzbekistan, Lukoil reports.

Lukoil’s head, V. Alekperov, said previously that the total value of the gas processing plant with the infrastructure will make up about $2.8 bln. The first stage of the Kandym gas processing plant is planned to be put into operation in 2018.
