Co-owner of ChTPZ Andrei Komarov is detained by police

The main owner of the pipe group ChTPZ and former member of the Federation Council from the Chelyabinsk region, Andrei Komarov was arrested by members of interior ministry and FSB. It is unknown, what the businessman is suspected of.

The main shareholder of the ChTPZ group, one of the largest Russian pipe producers, Andrei Komarov has been arrested by law enforcement officers, a source in the force reported to Interfax. He specified that members of the Main Directorate for Combating Economic Crimes and Anti-Corruption Enforcement of the Ministry of the Interior and FSB detained the businessman.

The Ministry of the Interior confirmed that Komarov has been arrested. The ChTPZ group declined to comment on the information.
