The Council of Europe demands payment schedules of 1.9 billion Euros to Yukos shareholders from the RF.

The Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe has completed the first session of this year to address issues on judgments enforcement of the ECtHR governments of 47 countries that are members of the Council of Europe. In late February, responding to received treatment from the majority shareholders of Yukos - Yukos Universal and Hulley Enterprises, as well as lawyer Pierce Gardner, representing the plaintiffs in the ECHR, the committee warned the Russian Federation on the obligation to comply with deadlines came into force on December 16, 2014 according to ECtHR ruling on the payment of compensation in the amount of € 1,9 billion to the shareholders of Yukos, "the Kommersant" writes.
