Investments of the oil companies of Russia into geological exploration may reduce by 15% in 2015. Interfax reports citing an announcement of the Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia S.Donskoi.
“The reduction of geological exploration volume will make up not less than 15%. The same figure refers to the reduction of investments of oil companies into geological exploration,” Donskoi stated. “Investment into geological exploration is very risky. So, oil companies will optimize this direction on a first-priority basis,” Minister said.
