Expenditure on Turkish Stream is comparable to expenditure on South Stream

​The expenditure for the realization of Turkish Stream is comparable with the expenditure for South Stream, President of the Turkish Energy Association, Vice-President of the International Association for Economy and Energy, G. Kumbarolu, said.

“We haven’t made all calculations as yet. The length of the pipeline is not changed (compared to South Stream). I think the value is comparable with the value of South Stream”, he said.

From the economic point of view, Turkish Stream is more efficient if compared with South Stream. Turkish Stream is beneficial for all – EU, Turkey and Russia, he said.

The value of South Stream is assessed at 15.5 bln euro. Gazprom said that a part of ht infrastructure might be used for Turkish Stream.
