Italy buys almost quarter of Azerbaijani oil

Last year, the total export of Azerbaijani oil to the world markets made up 35.2 million tons. According to the Turan, this data was voiced by manager of the SOCAR’s Marketing and Economic Operations Deparment Adil Abyshev in his speech at the Oil and Gas Trading and Transportation Conference in Baku at the end of last week.

"24.5 million tons of the specified volume fell on oil exports by SOCAR. Thus, the share of the state oil company in the total export of Azerbaijani oil is about 70%,"- he said.
