PSA regime of Sakhalin-1 project not to be changed to include Far East LNG in it

Changes in the Sakhalin-1 project, developed under the terms of Production Sharing Agreement (PSA), won’t be made to include the Rosneft’s project Far East LNG in it, the Energy Minister Alexander Novak said.

"This option is not discussed," - he said about the inclusion of Far East LNG in PSA of the Sakhalin-1 project. "We don’t plant to change the PSA at all. Rosneft and operator of Sakhalin-1 negotiate on a joint implementation of the Far East LNG project on the basis of gas resources of the PSA and Rosneft’s fields," - the Minister added.
