2 billion tons of oil produced on developments of TatNIPIneft

Today a two-day scientific conference dedicated to the 60th anniversary of TatNIPIneft Institute started in Bugulma. The event was organized by Tatneft with participation of the Volga-Kama Regional Branch of the Academy of Natural Sciences.

The Tatar Research and Design Institute of Oil was created in 1956. Biography of the Institute is inseparably linked with the history of the oil industry of Tatarstan.

Today it is one of the leading institutions of the country in the development of oil fields. TatNIPIneft conducts a wide range of research and design works in the field of geology and development of oil and gas fields; construction, operation and repair of wells; enhanced oil recovery; field treatment of oil, gas and water; protection of oil field equipment from corrosion; environmental protection; information technologies; design of oil and gas fields arrangement, industrial and civil construction.
