In January-March 2016, polyvinyl chloride production in Russia grew by 1%

In the first three months of this year, the total production unmixed polyvinyl chloride in Russia increased by 1% as compared to the same period of 2015 and amounted to about 200.6 thousand tons. A serious increase in the production volumes by RusVinyl was offset by the unplanned stop of Sayanskkhimplast.

Last month, the final rate of the unmixed polyvinyl chloride production in Russia fell to 57.5 thousand tons as compared to 67.3 thousand tons in February. In general, in January - March 2016, the total volume of polyvinyl chloride production grew to 200.6 thousand tons against 198.5 thousand tons a year earlier... RusVinyl increased the production by 41%, but this was offset by the downtime of Sayanskkhimplast, other Russian producers maintained the polyvinyl chloride production at the level of last year.
