Government of Sakhalin to support Exxon Neftegas Limited

The temporary acting Governor of Sakhalin, O. Kozhemyako, met with the President of Exxon Neftegas Limited, W. Warwick. The Government of Sakhalin promised the company to support it in the framework of the Sakhalin-1 project.
According to Mr. Kozhemyako, the joint project of Exxon and Rosneft is an example of cooperation of Russian and the USA. The temporary acting Governor said that the cooperation of 2 large oil and gas companies serves for the benefit of the island.
