Rosneft plans to save 35 bln roubles by means of energy saving until 2019

Rosneft has started the energy saving program for 2015-2019 with the planned saving of fuel and energy resources at the volume of over 5 mln tons of reference fuel or 35 bln roubles in monetary terms.
Rosneft reported that it would save 35 bln roubles in the process of realization of the program for 2014-2018.
Rosneft saved 526 thousand tons of reference fuel in 2014 or 3.7 bln roubles in monetary terms. In the framework of the program Rosneft also implements the system of energy management at 33 affiliates. The stake of these enterprises is 95% of the company’s total energy consumption.
Rosneft is one of the largest consumers of energy resources of Russia, its stake is over 3% in the country’s energy balance.
