Azeri oil pumping by BTC rose by 3% in H1

​The volume of Azeri oil pumping by BTC inH1 2016  made up 14 mln 930.79 thousand tons, by 2.6% higher than in H1 2015, SOCAR reports.

From the moment of putting the pipeline into operation (June 2006) until July 1st 2016 the pumping volume made up 307 mln 606.179 thousand tons of oil, including in June – 2 mln 489.988 thousand tons, SOCAR reports.

Besides this in June 371.206 thousand tons of Turkmen oil were pumped by the BTC.

In H1 2016 the shipment of Azeri oil from the Ceyhan oil terminal made up 14 mln 774.66 thousand tons, including in June – 2 mln 143.253 thousand tons. In total from the moment of putting BTC into operation 305 mln 432 thousand tons of Azeri oil have been shipped from the Ceyhan terminal.

In 2015, 28 mln 835.543 thousand tons of Azeri oil were pumped by BTC.

The participants of the BTC are: BP (30.1%); SOCAR (25%); Chevron (8.9%); Statoil (8.71%); TPAO (6.53%); ENI (5%); Itochu (3.4%); CIECO (2.5%); INPEX (2.5%), Total (5%) and ONGC (2.36%).
