Oil from countries and regions, unstable from a geopolitical point of view, including Russia, Libya and Iraq, is about 80% of the European import. This is stated in the report of the Expert Cambridge Econometrics, made by order of the group Transport and Environment.
Experts believe that the best option for the European Union would be the switch of transport to other fuels, since transport provides two-thirds of the final demand for oil.
