Sayanskkhimplast starts the production of PVC-C.

On July 11 Sayanskkhimplast (the Irkutsk region), the second largest producer of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in Russia, produced the first batch of suspension polyvinyl chloride (PVC-C), after almost five months of forced inactivity, the company informs.

As previously announced on June 27 the production of chlorine and caustic soda was introduced to production with the minimum load. On July 9 at the production of vinyl chloride start of the cracking unit took place, its output to the planning mode is in progress, the oxychlorination reactors run. Now the productions of vinyl chloride and polyvinyl chloride are also working at minimum load.
