Zarubezhneft and Iranian NIOC sign agreement on development of two fields

State-owned oil companies of Iran and Russia National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and Zarubezhneft have signed an agreement to increase the production pace at the Iranian of fields of Western Peydar and Aban. According to the press centre of NIOC, the agreement was signed by managing director of the Iranian company Ali Cadore and general director of Zarubezhneft Igor Kudryashov in Tehran.

According to the Iranian company Oil and Energy Industries Development, the Western Peydar deposit is located 30 km from the Iranian-Iraqi border. Currently, the oil production pace is 1.5 thousand barrels per day. The company - field operator intends to increase the figure to 20 thousand barrels per day.
