Construction of main gas pipeline Zestafoni-Kutaisi to be completed by October 2014

Construction of a 23-kilometer sector of the 700 mm main gas pipeline Zestafoni-Kutaisi in Western Georgia will be completed by October 2014. To date, the construction works have been 81% completed.
The construction of the 23-kilometer sector of Zestafoni-Kutaisi is carried out within the 4th phase of the construction project of the main gas pipeline East-West. The project will be implemented with the assistance of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)
