Evraz NTMK will supply 4,300 tons of beams for the airport at Yamal

Before the end of summer, Evraz NTMK will supply over 4,300 tons of construction beams for building of the international airport at Yamal. It’s built within Yamal LNG, a priority project for Russia, aimed at the development of the South Tambey gas deposit. The airport will accept the planes of nearly all types and will be one of the world's largest Arctic airports.

The construction beams of Evraz NTMK will be used for building of the construction elements of the buildings and the airport terminal, and for construction of many other objects important for the infrastructure of the settlement of Sabetta. The airport will function in the harsh conditions of the Arctic region that’s why it’s built with the use of the special technologies. Evraz NTMK beam is made of low alloyed steel of S345 sort. It is characterized by the improved durability specifications and can be used in High North.
